Paul Elt Cracks New Venue First Session

Dynamite’s Paul Elt recently made a trip to River Trent to check out the potential, and after a succession of fish will certainly be visiting the venue again soon!

Targeting a slow but deep section he baited heavily with Dynamite Marine Halibut Groundbait, Marine Halibut Pellets, Crushed Monster Crab Boilies and Frenzied Hempseed along a near bank crease.

Over the top of this he fished heavy feeders to get down to the river bed in 15ft of water, with long hooklinks to a size 10 barbel hook. Hookbait was a couple of small 3mm Marine Halibut Pellets super glued to a hair

After leaving the swim to settle for a while, it didn’t take long for the fish to turn up and Paul was soon hauling in plenty of decent sized barbel to a best of 9lb.
