Last Gasp Tench For Paul Elt

Paul Elt made a last dash attempt at getting amongst the tench before the river season got underway. The Dynamite Baits Angler was fishing a local gravel pit that had already produced well for him this season.

During a quick overnighter, Paul had decided to fish with artificial casters over a bed of Dynamite’s Frenzied Hempseed and Swim Stim Green Groundbait. He also attached a small PVA bag of casters to his rig before casting. Paul chose to fish right on the edge of a large weedbed, as this seemed the perfect ambush point.

At first light Paul was in to a cracking tench of just over 8lb. He is now firmly setting his sights on other river species.
