Great Result For Young Lucy Drury

Dynamite’s Gaz Drury was made a very proud dad, when his daughter Lucy came out on top amongst the juniors and ladies at last weekends Rover Match at Whiteacres.

12 year old Lucy, fancied peg 19 on the complex’s Trewlany lake after seeing a few bubblers in the area. The actual peg was a corner swim and was renowned for holding a few better fish.

Lucy began by fishing at 6 metres straight out in front of her, whilst also feeding a margin line 6 metres down her near bank. Her chosen hookbait was 6mm cubed Dynamite Luncheon Meat soaked in The Source Liquid Attractant.

Lucy finished the match with 46lb 5oz, which consisted of 4 big carp down the edge and about 7lb of skimmers and roach out in front. Overall, she came 13^th out of the 104 anglers participating.

“I was such a proud dad, and Lucy was one very chuffed girl, it was great to see her enjoying herself so much. No doubt, I shall be spending a lot more time on the bank with her if she wants to take it up” Gaz told us
