Quiet Day Ends With Big Pike

Dynamite’s Predator Expert, Mick Brown, has been out on the banks recently getting amongst a few good fish. His most recent capture being this awesome 29lb 1oz specimen!
Here, Mick takes up the story:
"I was tackling a water that I hadn't fished for a while, the day was not going particularly well and by mid-afternoon I hadn't had a run.
I moved swims to another part of the lake and immediately had a pick up on a half herring bait. The float dithered for quite a while and I thought it was a jack trying to get the bait into its mouth. In fact it was quite the opposite and turned out to be a very fat pike of 29 lb 1 oz, my best so far this winter!
The reason for the fiddly run was soon apparent, the pike had a distorted mouth, the bottom jaw being much shorter than the top jaw and slightly twisted. I recognized it, as a pike I caught there four seasons ago when it weighed 19 lb. Its deformity certainly hadn't stopped it from feeding"
