Top Start To Predator Season For Goulder

Former Drennan cup holder Darran Goulder has got his predator season off to a fine start with this 21lb 10oz pike taken from Chew Valley trout reservoir.

Darran float fished a whole mackerel from the Dynamite Baits Predator Range to tempt the fish whilst fishing one of the venues deep holes from a boat.

He used a prototype Shimano Purist Rod, 10,000 XTE-A Reel and 50lb Powepro braid to land the fish. This was rounded off with size 6 E-sox Trebles and a 36lb Super Trace.
