Mike Hamer Lands Another Frimley Forty

DynamiteBaits.com has just received pictures of the latest forty pounder to be banked by Mike Hamer following a session last weekend at Frimley pit 3.

The fish, which was one of three taken during the session, is known as ‘Gums’ and registered an impressive 41lb 7oz on the scales, taking Mike’s tally of forty pounders to three for the season.

He tempted the fish with a Dynamite Baits Frenzied Mini Tiger, on a standard running rig, fished over the top of a few handfulls of freebies.

“I was fishing ‘Daisy Bay’ as it was a little sheltered from the wind. I cast to a spot around 20 yards away, close to some overhangs where I’d seen some fish,” Mike explained.

“The run came just an hour into the session and I didn’t realise which fish it was until it headed out of the bay. The rest of the fight was very nerve wracking but 25 minutes later it lay in the net,” he added.
