Five 2lb Plus Grayling For Adrian Eves

Fancy trying your hand at something a little different this weekend? That’s exactly what Dynamite’s Adrian Eves did when he recently visited a new section of the River Test for a grayling session.

Faced with poor weather, he didn’t let this deter him and set about targeting them with a combination of red maggots boosted with Dynamite’s Scopex XL Liquid and Dynamite’s Strawberry Frenzied Sweetcorn.

This approach accounted for approximately 20 grayling including five fish over the magical 2lb barrier, including a 2lb 6oz specimen that was just short of Adrian’s PB.

“Regular feeding certainly seemed to be the trick and just a few grains of corn or maggots every cast seemed to keep the grayling lined up without encouraging too many trout.

“All of the fish came long-trotting a float on one of the new Fox 14ft waggler rods,” Adrian added.
